A partnership between arts councils in the five boroughs and the New York City Departments of Cultural Affairs and Aging will create artist workspace in senior centers to promote interaction between visual artists and seniors. In return for free workspace, artists will provide the senior community with on-site programs including workshops, demonstrations, lectures and exhibitions. Artists can find more information on how to apply on the Department of Cultural Affairs Web site, click here.
