Giving USA, a publication of Giving USA Foundation, researched and written by the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, reports that giving to arts, culture and humanities groups was 5% of the 2010 total, and that giving rose 5.7% in the past fiscal year. An executive summary with key findings can be downloaded for free. The Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy (CECP) has surveyed 184 companies on all areas of giving, finding that 65% of companies increased their donations in the past fiscal year, and 53% of companies gave more in 2010 than in 2007.
