Entire City Block Becomes Cultural Space

/get_the_news/afta_journal/new_and_renovated_cultural_sit/lentspace.jpgOn Friday, September 18 an entire downtown block will be transformed into free outdoor cultural space for the public. LentSpace, presented by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) and made possible by a temporary loan of a Trinity Real Estate development site, will feature contemporary art exhibitions and public programs from 7 am to dusk. Located at Canal, Varick, Grand and Sullivan Streets, the space was designed by the design firm, Interboro. The first three installations at LentSpace will be on view through January 5, 2010.
