The New York Times

Red Cloud Rising: The Fifth Wall -- a kind of theatrical reality game -- is being played daily as part of Williamsburg-based The Brick Theater's current Game Play Festival. Red Cloud Rising has its roots in two worlds -- video games and stage plays -- and draws audiences into an immersive experience of live theater that happens out in the real world and infiltrates their inboxes. The unique show, just extended to run through September 24th, takes place in the Financial District and it blends theater's live performance sensibility with the vocabulary of video games. The New York Times review is written by the paper's video/computer game critic, Seth Schiesel.
