At a time when cuts to the arts in the state's proposed budget are being considered, it is critical that elected officials understand the importance of the arts. The Alliance for the Arts, along with the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA), the Harlem Arts Alliance, the Association of Hispanic Arts and the Arts & Business Council of New York is pleased to sponsor a day of arts advocacy in Albany on Tuesday, February 3 organized by NYS ARTS. The day will include advocacy briefing sessions, networking opportunities and an Arts Day Reception following legislative meetings.
Join other arts colleagues at Arts Day to prove that the arts strengthen our economy, provide employment, increase tourism and improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
