Bloomberg Family Foundation Invites 250 Arts Groups to Apply for $32 Million in Grants

Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg's family foundation has invited 250 arts groups in New York City to apply for grants between $25,000 and $350,000, which will total $32 million. Organizations with annual budgets of less than $3 million will receive 75 percent of the funding. Grant recipients must secure matching funds equal to 20 percent of the grant and maintain accounts with the Cultural Data Project. Support includes an arts-management training program led by Michael Kaiser, president of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
