NEA and HUD Invite Arts and Creative Sector to Participate in Webinar on July 7

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Chairman Rocco Landesman and U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Shaun Donovan invite the arts and creative sector to participate in a webinar on Wednesday, July 7 at 3 pm EDT. Two new community development funding opportunities will be discussed: HUD's Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant Program ($100 million) and the HUD and DOT Sustainable Communities Challenge Grant Program ($75 million). Arts organizations can partner with state and local governments, metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), transit agencies, philanthropic and nonprofit organizations and other eligible applicants to develop consortia grant proposals. To participate, log on to HUD's Web site at 3 pm on July 7.
