To present a picture of the current state of the arts in New York City, the Alliance is preparing the second update of its report The Recession & the Arts. The Alliance needs the assistance of the field in ensuring it gathers data for a representative sample. Organizations that have not yet responded to the survey will be contacted this week. The first report, published in January 2009, and the May 2010 update are available online.
