Funding Applications Due in June

Creative Capital is offering new subsidies to organizations that would like to host Professional Development Program workshops for artists of all disciplines. Subsidies ranging from $3,000 to $10,000 are available for Core Strategic Planning, Internet for Artists, Verbal Communications and Spanish language workshops to take place in 2011. Creative Capital is the only national grantmaking and artist service organization for individual artists that has an open application process. The deadline for applying to workshop subsidies is June 30.

LMCC's Arts in Education grant---Creative Curricula---makes matching grants for up to $5,000 to support partnerships between Manhattan schools and teaching artists or cultural organizations. Funding is provided for in-classroom projects that focus on the integrated study of the arts and non-arts subjects. The application deadline is June 22 for projects in the 2010-2011 school year (first-time applicants who have not attended an information session should contact Haowen Wang at creativecurricula@lmcc.net).
