LMCC AND SEEDCO PRESENT ARTS BUSINESS CONFERENCE FEB 3

On Thursday, February 3, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and Seedco will present Money, Management and Marketing: Building Entrepreneurship in Downtown's Creative Community, a conference intended for nonprofit cultural organizations and small arts businesses. Issues such as revenue-building, debt-financing, creative marketing strategies and navigating New York real estate will be addressed through the presentation of case studies and discussions with local and national experts. Downtown performing arts groups, museums, galleries, arts education organizations and architecture and design firms are invited to attend the event, which will be held at the National Museum of the American Indian--Smithsonian Institution (1 Bowling Green, between State and Whitehall Streets) from 8:30 am to 5 pm. The cost of the conference is $25.
