CULTURAL ATTENDANCE AT HIGH LEVEL IN NEW STUDY
The Alliance for the Arts has released its first annual survey of attendance at nonprofit cultural institutions and activities.
The new report--called NYC ARTS AUDIENCES: Attendance at NYC Cultural Venues--sets 2004 attendance at 25.6 million. This is more than twice the numbers either for Broadway theater or for sports events.
