The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) awards grants for arts projects in Manhattan neighborhoods through the Fund for Creative Communities (the Fund) and the Manhattan Community Arts Fund (MCAF). Both programs provide up to $5,000 to arts organizations and artists for projects in every discipline. In August and September, LMCC will give information sessions throughout Manhattan. Attendance is required for first-time applicants and returning applicants who have not attended a session since 2007. The application deadline is Tuesday, September 21, 2010.
