¡Si Cuba! Festival Brings Cuban Artists to New York

Fourteen New York institutions will present a diverse range of events during the ¡Si Cuba! Festival between March 31 and June (some exhibits continue through July). For decades, the artistic exchange between the United States and Cuba has been limited due to the political relationship between the countries. Addressing the issue of cultural diplomacy at the Alliance for the Arts' Arts Forum at the TimesCenter on March 7 are Margaret Ayers, president of the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation (a major sponsor of the festival) and Marjorie A. Ames, division chief, Cultural Programs, US Department of State, among other speakers.
